• • Annually it is imperative that the dogs and cats at the shelter are vaccinated for Rabies to safeguard the staff and volunteers and all the shelter animals.
  • Animals that are healthy, well-fed, and disease-resistant have much better chances of finding a happy forever home. Therefore shelter animals have to be vaccinated annually for contagious but preventable diseases like parvo, distemper , leptospirosis.
  • Preventable diseases such as those mentioned above can stop an adoption in its tracks – not to mention being a danger to unprotected populations in the shelter. Although shelters try to meet the needs of, their animals, they may not be able to afford a timely delivery of much-needed vaccinations.
